Dominance by Jasmine Moore and Anna Hall helps Gators to women’s NCAA team title

The Florida women’s track team swept the indoor and outdoor NCAA team titles, winning the outdoor title Saturday afternoon at Hayward Field. Florida finished with 74 points, 10 points ahead of second-place Texas.

Jasmine Moore gave the Gators 20 points winning in long and triple jump, becoming the second athlete since Sheila Hudson to place first in triple and long jump at the Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Championships in back to back years.

Anna Hall won the heptathlon and finished second in the 400-meter hurdles, giving the Gators more crucial points.

Florida secured its win when Parker Valby placed second in the 5,000 meters.
